My GG grandfather was Edmund Daniel Hamer and his son, my great grandfather was Edmund Charles, born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in 1890. I do not know where Edmund Daniel was born. He married Annie Keen of Illmea, Buckinghamshire.
It seems that Edmund was a family name. Do you think our families are linked?
