Trying to find more information about my Gt Grandfather Zephaniah Stokes born 1877 and his father Thomas Stokes born c. 1846. Family from Blackwood, Monmouthshire. Any help would be great.

Hello Sian,
I've only just come across your enquiry and I realise you may have all the information you need by now about your Stokes ancestors. But if I can be of any help, I've been tracing the Stokes side of my/our family for about 6 years, back to about 1781. Your Gt.Grandfather (Zephaniah) was my Grandfather's brother. If you are still researching your history it might be interesting to compare notes.
