Hello all you Murrays!!! Im trying to find anyone who has any info on Eleanor Murray born 1815 ish very ish - married my gt gt gt gt grandfather george Peacock in Manchester cathedral in 1857. Her dad was John Murray who was a gatekeeper - they lived in Ancoats Manchester. Any info would be great however small. Thanks Ian

Hi Ian,
my ancestors were Murray's living in the Manchester area-Ancoats,Collyhurst,etc.
the furthest back I have them is a James Murray,born around 1837.I cannot find his birth registered,all I know is his father was John Murray,
a weaver.Thought I would reply to your request in the likelihood (slim I know but here's hoping!) that this line ties in with yours?
