Hi Moire,
I wonder whether you know the names of the children of Thomas Phelan and Louisa Conner..
I do know of a Thomas Phelan but am not sure at ths time if it is the same Thomas that you are looking for. If you can supply me with the names of his children I will be able to let you know if he is the Thomas I know of.

Looking for Thomas Phelan--born around 1885 in Kilkenny, I believe. Was killed tragically in 1937. He married Louisa Connor from the Wigan area & moved to Goldthorpe in South Yorkshire. After raising 7 seven children they moved to Bredbury, Nr. Stockport. He died a few years later. Maire Phelan ( would have been his daughter-in-law.)
