You will get a fair bit from me and there are lots of other Gridleys around on GR, surprised you have not had any hits. Is your tree with Gridley on the system? If not get it on there and you will get the Hot Matches which are VERY useful. Same with Morris possibly but for the reasons below I have not put that tree on GR.

My name is David Morris, my Mothers maiden name was Amelia Gridley, of Gridley I know lots, of Morris I know nothing. As a long shot but look at this and see if any of it means anything.

I am looking for my Dad Albert Morris, born Albert Bailey in 59 Samuel Street Monks Coppenhall in September 1909 to an unmarried Florence Bailey, of whom I now NOTHING! In No. 59 during 1909 were a James Banks & a Wiiliam Stanier, so says the electoral role.

Dad was brought up in London from around 1911 by James & Eliza Morris whose details are below.

Hi, I am trying to find any information relating to my grandfather, William George Morris, born 29/11/1905 in Winson Green, Birmingham, UK, and his family. He married Dorethtea May Gridley, also born in Winson Green (dob-08/01/05). They have two children Sheila Mary Morris (Edwards)(dob-07/05/1935) and Roy Anthony Morris (dob-01/09/1937), my father. Any information on either the Morris or Gridley families is much appreciated. Thank You.
