Hi, my paternal g/ma was Dorothy (Dolly) Scales, born1881, Filey died c 1962, he father was Edward, g/father also Edward, g.g/father was Robert, all fishermen. This may be of some help in your search. Jill |

Hi, I am trying to fill in my Great Grandfathers life between the years 1908 and 1924. His name was George William Scales from Scarborough North Yorkshire, England. He was born in 1883/4 and died in 1940, during the above dates he was a merchant seaman and he lived in Canada. There is a possibility that he married or co-habited with a woman and had children, if anyone knows anything about this or could be a possible relation please reply to this message. Thanks |
