could you be related to Mary Ann Stancer b. 1836, Horncastle, her father was John Stancer b 1809 in Horncastle and married in 1832 to Martha Fletcher b.1811 in Horncstle.

really stuggling with my STANCER line. any help would be appreciated. my branch are from Langton by Wragby and Horncastle in Lincolnshire. furthest back is George Stancer who says he was born in 1775 in Langton by Wragby..... but the church was rebuilt during 1775/6 and some of the records seem to be missing..... well..... George is anyway. perhaps he was born elsewhere.
