Trying to find Houlahan

Mygreat grandfather was Thomas Houlahan born around 1848 in Ireland possibly county Cork area. He was in the british army first record found was the 1901 census.( My father was named Cyril Patrick).He had 7 children my grandfather being the eldest and born in ireland.I understand there are many variations on the spelling of Houlahan but we spelt it the same as you. Great Grandmother was named Annie and was 39 in 1901 also came from Southern Ireland and she was an Army school teacher.

Trying to find ancestors of Patrick Houlahan, born 1837 in Ireland. He married Mary Doherty , born in 1840, and in 1866 they were living in Rathmeaden, Co Waterford. The family moved to Widnes, probably around 1875.
