Hello Diana,
I am sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Was your grandfather a son of John Gentry and Elizabeth Garnish. In which case he would have been the brother of my great grandfather Arthur John Gentry.
I will give you access to my tree so you can see if there are any similarities.
Kind regards
Jeannie Gentry

I am trying to find descendents and ancestors of Arthur John Gentry - my great grandfather -who was born in London in 1883 and died some time during WW1. He was married to Alice in 1902 and had children named John, Wally, Bella, Harry and my grandad Frederick Otham. In the 1901 census he was living at 17 Orbel St Battersea with his parents John and Elizabeth Gentry, his sisters Amy, Florence, Violet and brothers Herbert and Walter. In addition they had their grandparents Thomas and Emma Garnish living with them.
