Dear Fi,

Here's some more info:-

Your gg grandad John Kirkpatrick's parents are Hugh Kirkpatrick from Northern Ireland and Jane Kirkpatrick nee McDonald from Springburn Glasgow (dob 07/04/1859)

Your gg gran Gladys Florence Foyer's parents are James Foyer and Mary Foyer nee Taylor. I haven't any birth details but Mary was born in England (c1845) and I think James was born in Scotland (c1849) but can't find any record of him.

Dear Fi,

Your great gran Gladys Mary Kirkpatrick was born on 21st November 1901 at 57 Harmony Row Govan Glasgow. Her parents were John Kirkpatrick born 1st October 1877 at 17 Avenue Street Springburn Glasgow and Gladys Florence Foyer born in Dewsbury England c1882. They were married in 1901 at the Parish Church in Govan Glasgow.

Hi Fi,
John Kirkpatrick 1877 married Gladys Foyer 1882, they had three children Gladys Kirkpatrick 1901, John, 1904 and Mathew 1905. Gladys married James Hughes.

I believe that after Gladys' death John Married Georgina Monaghan 1886 and they had another two children Hugh Kirkpatrick 1915and Georgina 1914

Gladys and James Hughes had four children Sarah 1923, Samual 1925 and Glays 1941, Sarah married Ernest Stewart 1912 and they had thre children Dianne 1951, Brian 1953 and Lesley 1956.

Dianne Stewart's Family tree is very informative on this of the family.

Trying to find any information on foyer from Scotland. My G.G Gran was believed to of been born in Wick or paisley. Her name was Gladys Florence Foyer and she married John Kirkpatrick. They had my G.Gran also named Gladys in 1901. Gladys Florence died soon after and i do not know what happened to my G.G grandad John. I have heard that he remarried and had another child (Children) Thank you Fi
