I wrote a kind of informative reply and lost it before posting!! :))) Ok basically all I had wanted to say was that I have some Gunns from that area in my tree..............mainly Lairg & Dornoch but there are connections to Roggart & Ricconich etc.............the family connections to Lairg have/are slowly passing away now though. My mother's mother was from Dornoch or Lairg we are unsure exactly as she died when my mother was only 2yrs old but from family etc we believe there were links to both areas for her. If you want to pm me we can exchange what info we have that might help each other now that I am on this branch of my tree :)) RDA.x.
