Trying to find Wakefield

Trying to find any Wakefield who were canal boatmen in the North Staffs area. I have a John Wakefield in my tree born 1826. His father was Joshua. Johns sons William, John and David all were boatmen. Many thanks Val Pepper

My Maiden name was Wakefield and allthough imnot sure about the Norths Staffs link i remember my grandfather talking about his relatives being canal boat men, i will ask my dad as he has done a family tree back to about 1800
