Hello Mary
I have sent 2 messages to you via genes reunited and am now trying this YES i do no this family my grandfather Thomas is Margarets brother i can confirm though Mary was Mary Brown and and Thomas was the Keys he died when a piano fell on him a tragic acident i have death certificate.Thomas and Mary as far as i can see never maried can not find marriage lines and yes Mary did go on to have another family still trying to sort this one out you will have lots of questions for me and i for you please get in touch.

Looking for the family of one Mary Keys. She was born in London, I think, circa 1850s-60s. She married a Thomas Brown, who was a furniture removalist. They had 6 children, John, Edward, Thomas, Margaret, Anne and Mary. In 1904 Thomas Brown snr was killed when a piano he was moving fell on top of him. Mary Keys Brown then put the children into St Joseph's Orphanage in Tottenham. I believe she married again, years later and had other children. I know that her older boys, John, Edward and Thomas were in the British Army. Margaret (my grandmother) became a nanny in London and then emigrated to Australia in 1920s. Anyone who knows of this Mary Keys please get in touch!
