Trying to find Glastonbury

Trying to locate any Glastonbury's in Australia or New Zealand who may be connected to my family from Gloucestershire, England. I am led to believe that my father had cousins in New Zealand or Australia and maybe some distant relatives in Canada. I would be glad to hear from anyone who thinks they may be connected in some way. My father was William Glastonbury and his father was also known as William and was married to Esther Crump, they lived at Newnham on Severn. My Grandmother Esther died c.1975 approx. She had 3 daughters - Blanche, Edith, Gladys and 2 sons my father and Derek.

Hi Maria,

Just seen your post - know it is pretty old but thought I'd reply.

I have traced my grandfather's family (Alfred Glastonbury) in New Zealand. His grandfather (also Alfred Glastonbury was from Gloucestershire - not sure where abouts) and emigrated there in 1874 was married and had 15 children. All the Glastonburys that I have traced in NZ so far have been related to them so is likely that your family too.

Not sure if you have access to my tree by me sending this email. Let me know if you don't.
