Hi All, I don't know if any-body will be able to help me, but i would love to find out about my dad's family. I am an Australian with the maiden name of HEDGES, it is not a very common name over here.As a kid i was told that my Great Grand-Father (Cecil Henry Albert Hedges) origonally came from England. He setteled in Port Maquarie in New South Wales. I know of 2 of his kids Patricia and Dallas James Hedges(my Grand-Father) My dad was the eldest of 5 there names are Darryl James Hedges, Sandra,Virginia,Oliver and Danny. Unfortunatley my dad passed away when i was 16 I am now 29 and I would love to know anything i can so i can pass it on to my children. I too have Hedges in my tree and in Australia also.These are the people I know,if they tie in with your family let me know.
Henry Hedges m Mary Jane Port,their
children Ada Hedges B:1885
Elijah B:1887 Lambton
Ethel B:1889 D:1889
Maud B:1889 D:1889
Ethel Maud B:1891 D:1970
Albert B: 1913 D:1913
Henry was born in Australia 1860 and married his wife in 1884,she was born in
Ballinderry Ireland and came to Australia
with her family.They were married in Walgett and from the records I have never left to far from there.
