Not related but had a browse.

Found marriage of William BAWDEN and Mary Ann BARTLETT 1845 AMJ Penzance Cornwall.

Found a possible family in 1851 living at parish of Quethiock Cornwall
William BAWDEN 1823 Bridge Cornwall
Mary Ann 1821 Lewanick Corn
Thomas Francis 1846 Lewanick
Honour 1847 Alternun Corn
John 1849 Guethisck

The ages of the children seems to fit with an 1845 marriage.

I suspect Williams birth place of Bridge is probably BREAGE Cornwall.

Found the following in 1841 at Breage Corn
William BAWDEN born 1821 tin miner
Ann BAWDEN 1811
William BAWDEN 1840

Living close by
Joseph BAWDEN 1791
Ann 1786
Joseph 1821
Amelia 1826
Ann 1826
Elizabeth 1826

Found a marriage (igi) of Joseph BAWDEN to Anne TRELOAR 13.9.1817 Breage Cornwall.

Also marriage William BAWDEN 2.11.1839 Breage to Ann PENALUNA.

You would need marrage cert for William and Mary Ann Bartlett to see what fathers were called to be sure.

Hi Janice
My GGrandfather was Moses BAWDEN/Bowden born c1855 in ?Perranzabuloe, Cornwall, England.
His parents were Thomas Richard BAWDEN/Bowden and ?Jane Richards.
Moses married Mary Ann Daley/Daly in Singleton, Australia in June 1879.
Mary was born in c1860 to parents John Daley/Daly and Catherine 'Kate' LEONARD, in ?Ireland.

I am trying to find anything about my Great grandfather John Bawden. I know he was born in Cornwall in about 1849 and he migrated to Australia, he then married Hannah Maria Hammond at South Apsley in NSW Australia on 6/6/1878. I have found 8 children John Albert George(my grandfather), Harriet, Albert, Herbert, Thomas, Hilda and Arthur all born at Bathurst NSW and William was born at Warren NSW. He died in 1925 in Dubbo NSW Australia, he did become a railway employee for NSW railways but he was on a old age pension when he died. He was a miner when he got married and his parents were William Bawden, also a miner, and Mary Ann Bartlett. Any information about John or his siblings or his parents would be appreciated.
