Vickie | Report | 23 Sep 2004 10:00 |
Hi, my name is Vickie, known for the last 20 odd years as Victoria. I am trying to find anyone who knows our family history. I was led to believe that the Bright surname was 'made up' during the English Civil War. Does anybody know if this is true. I am a novice about geanology and am not sure how to go about finding out. I was born in Leicester on 25th November 1953 and am one of six children (Jane, Ruth, myself, Louise, Philip & Simon), the children of David Arthur Bright (dob 13/07/1930), who had four brothers (Victor Swithen Bright, Philip Bright & Frank Russell Bright). Their parents were Albert Edward Bright and Doris May Crouch. If anyone knows anything about the family would they please let me know where to start to find anything out about them? Many thanks. |
