Hi susan, Im researching the Geoghegans, from Dublin.
We have know connection which i can see at the moment.
One thing did ring a bell my great aunt
Catherine ( Kate ) Geoghegan was deaf and dumb, looks like it may be a Geoghegan inhertance.
Have you found any more information on your family?
All information welcomed.
best wishes Paulette

My grandmother's maiden name was Geoghegan, and I know that the family came from Dublin and had musichall connections. She died in 1953. Also either she or her husband, whose surname was GARDNER was profoundly deaf, as were some of her children and grandchildren. They lived in Lancashire, probably the Bolton area, and the name 'Edgefold' has a link to the family. Do any of these facts ring a bell with anyone?
