Trying to find Springhall

Don't know if this is any help. Betty Scott from York married a Fred Springhall sometime during or just after WW2. Betty was my 1st cousin once removed but I don't know anything about Fred's family.

Hello my partners adopted grandmother was Rose Anna (or Hannah) Springhall b 1881 d. 1955 she married John Mackin. Her father was William Springhall who originated from Sparham in Norfolk. Rose was disowned by her father when she married.

I understand that William was married about 3 times. Rose had a brother called Thomas who was 8 years older than her, I assume that this is the Thomas that you refer to. There was also Esther, Tilly, William, Samuel. One of Rose's brothers died in the First World War. There were some older children and I am not sure which children belonged to which wife of William.

Judging by the date of your entry (2004) you probably have found out this information by now but I hope this proves useful to you.

does anyone know anything of the springhall family, thomas was my great grandfather and was married in 1885, middlesbrough, to ellen hill,its possible he had 11 brothers & sisters- if anyone can help please get in touch, thanx
