Linda I am not sure if I have made contact with you before or not, my side of the Swinburn come from Dearham Cockermouth areasd not far from Skelton. Do you have any history you can supply, if so I can check it out from my records |

I would be interested to hear from anybody researching the Swinburn's from the Greystoke/Skelton areas of Cumberland. I have an extended family tree relating to this line. My husband's Great Great Grandfather came from Skelton and moved to Salford, Lancashire. I would like to fill in some gaps. Also if you have any photographs relating to this family I would appreciate a copy (will refund the cost). I have also been researching a one name study and have a lot of information on other Swinb(o)urn(e)s. Perhaps we can swap information.
