Hi Jan, I have a Margaret Emmett on my tree 1868c but she was born Withnell, Lancashire. Her siblings are Elizabeth, William, Hannah and Mary. Their parents are Samuel Emmett and Ellen Alty. I dont know who she married or where she died; it is probably not the same one but I thought I would just let you know.

My G-Grandmother was Margaret Emmett b. c1867, d 1904 to my knowledge in Bray, Wicklow, Ireland. She married Robert Webster and had 4 children, John b. 1894 in Dublin, Arthur b.1896 in Bray, a son whose name I do not know, and a daughter Violet b. c1897. After her death Robert placed John in Coomb Boys Home and Violet in an orphanage for a time, Then brought John and Arthur to Canada. I have reason to believe Violet came to Canada later (1913?) as a Home child. The other son is said to have gone to South America and was never heard from and wasn't spoken of (except that 1 of my uncles was told of his existance. Being the 100th anniversary of Margarets death it would mean a great deal to me to have any info about her, particularly about where she is buried.
