Trying to find Ballard

Dear Deborah,
I think my dad's people came from Sussex originally. I remember my grandmother remarking on it once as she was from Pulborough. My dad's a Ballard but his people emigrated to Australia quite awhile ago;about 1860 I think. They settled on quite a sizable land grant in Queensland at a place called Brookfield. I can try & find out a bit more if you're still interested. I see your posting was quite a while ago.
