Hi Kathleen and David. Hope this message gets to both of you.

Not sure if what I have found is the right family but see what you think.

1841 census (remember this census rounded up the ages of the people other than the young children so although there is three with same age, they were not triplets.

Thomas. 25. (in 1861 he was 44)

William 16.
Born Salterforth. Barnoldswick.

Thomas.)twins.10. Born Barnoldswick
Mary Ann. 8. Born Barnds
Sarah. 6. Born Barnolds

This family would appear to be part of both your trees but needs checking backwards from yourselves to be sure.

Hope this helps. Ethel.

Hi Kathleen
My great grandfather's mother was Mary Widdup - She was married to Thomas Stott. Their son Joseph was my great grandfather born 1852. He came to Australia in 1870.
Any info would be very appreciated

Looking for information on William Widdup born c1840-50s, in England , possibly Barnoldswick. He married Elizabeth Rae of Dumfries Scotland and had two daughters, Edith Anne and Mary.
