As regards the original query, this is the death of Bertha Luxton (nee Baigent)

Bertha Annie Luxton
BIRTH: 11 Dec 1888
DEATH: Jun 1975 - Reading and Wokingham, Berkshire, England

Ancestry has her as Bertha Bagent in 1891, father Francis, mother Sarah.

This looks like her birth from GRO
BAGENT, ANNIE BERTHA mmn INNES
GRO Reference: 1889 M Quarter in WOKINGHAM Volume 02C Page 371

and free bmd
Births Mar 1889
Bagent Annie Bertha Wokingham 2c 371

As this is a very old thread it is highly unlikely that any of the 3 people interested in the Baigent family will be still checking it, and possible none of them are still members of genes. They are not automatically notified of new additions.

Annie M Baigent was my paternal grandmother. I have photographs of all the family except Mabel.

I have a Frances E Baigent in my tree. Born 1889 in Chippenham. Sisters Annie M and Mabel Emily Ester. Father Lawrence Walter Baigent and Mother Emily Hester Baigent (nee Porter)
Any connection?

Hi Lorraine,
My Grandmothers maiden name was Baigent, she lived at 15 Body Road Reading & died early 60s,
she married into the Ostridge family & had two daughters.
I have not yet been able to find much out about her family but have only just started the search.
Is there a link ?

Hi I am looking for information on Bertha Annie Baigent who was born in 1889. I do not know where she was born, but she did live in Reading. Her fathers' name was Francis Edward Baigent and she had sisters, one of them was called Ada. They lived in Body Road in Reading. Bertha got married in 1922 in Reading. I have been to the family records centre but have had no luck in finding her birth or death entry. She died circa 1973 in Reading. I would be grateful if anybody has any information. Reagards Lorraine
