William Henry Walter Lucy b1874 was the son of Frederick Cobbett Lucy Christened 21 9 1843 at St Mary's Church, Hanley Castle (a small village) , Worcestershire, England and Olivia Cruikshank. St Mary's is an old stone church still standing in a historic village, about an hour's drive from where I live.

Frederick Cobbett was the third of six children born to William Francis Lucy Ch 31 5 1810 and Ellen White, who married in 1839 or or earlier. I am a direct descendant of Frederick Cobbett's older brother Charles Edward Ch 2 2 1842 at St Mary's Hanley Castle.

William Francis's parents were Francis William b about 1781 or1782 and Esther-----. They married in 1807 or earlier. Francis William was age 79 and still living in Hanley Castle, near Upton on Severn in the 1861 census.
