Hi Helen, I have a Margaret Ellery who married William Thompson in my tree but they were married in Durham. i know a lot of mining families went to this area from Devon and Cornwall Margarets fatherwas John. I also have Tippetts in my tree. John Tippett m Catherine Hackett abt 1820, son John b 1845 married Ann Alger b 1848 Imegrated to N.Z 1874. anything here ring a bell with you. Regards amy N.Z |
