Trying to find Simmons

This is a long shot Amanda, and I realise your posting here is in 2003. Incase you do look this up.
We have the name Simmons (spelt the same way) in our family along with the names May, Thorntons, Fildes and Scotting. All are related to one another and there have been many family rifts (as in most large families) through the generations.

If any of these family names sound familiar, drop me a live and I may be able to help in filling in some blanks for you.

Kind regards
Belinda

Any idea what country, or, if the UK, what part of the country Edward was born?

I am trying to find relations of my grandfather Edward Simmons (Born around 1920). My father has little knowledge of his extended family or ancestors due to a family rift which occured before he was born. My grandfather was married to Victoria (Maude) Simmons and they had 1 son, Peter Edward whom is now 60. We have recently found that Edward (Ted) had a brother Arthur and a sister Hester.
