Dawn - as Susan posted this thread in 2003, she probably isn't expecting any replies.

You could send her a personal message (PM) by clicking on her name. As long as she is still using the same linked email address.. and can access it.... she'll be notified that you are trying to contact her.

Hi Susan,
Have only just read your request for information.This is the information I have, this was given to me some years ago by Mary- Anne,s great Grand-daughter ( But have misplaced her name):
Ambrose William born 1886
George born 1881
Ambrose born 1886
Mary Ann Cooknell and Richard Waite married September Qtr 1968 in Aston District.
Mary Ann Cooknell was the 10th child born to Samuel Cooknell and Rebecca Russell.

Anyone who has connections to Richard Waite b. 1845 and Mary Ann Cooknell b. 1849. The Waite family lived at Chapel Fields, Solihull in the 1881 census. Children as follows:1. Louisa b.1871 Birmingham, 2.Mary Jane Waite b.1873 Coleshill, 3. Annie Waite b.1875 Hall green 4. Richard Waite b.1877 Solihull 5. Enos Waite 1879 Solihull. 6. George 7. Nin 8. Ambrose William 9. Poll 10. James. (believed ther were thirteen children). A lot of the children were born at Olton Barracks, where my Great grandfather was serving. The boys all joined the army in later years. In 1901 census families living in hartshill, Warwick, North Aston and Yardley. Any contact gratefully received.
