Anita-Have you received any information on Alfred Crowter and family--if not let me know--I will contact a friend whose forebears were CROWTER from nearby Weybridge.
As a matter of interest my wife's forebears were also Crowters from London and Lambeth areas--No connection can be found with the Weybridge group.

I am trying to find relatives of my deceased father-in-Law Alfred Francis Reginald Crowter he was born 1904 passed away 1971.He was born and lived in Walton-on-Thames,Surrey.He had a brother name unknown. His first wife was called Doll he had three daughters, one sadly passed away very young with? diptheria during world war two.During the war he was a drill sergeant in the Royal Surreys and rescued from Dunkirk,he was stationed then in Skegness, then moved to Birmingham after the war.Sadly that is where my Father-in-Law passed away.
