I am trying to find any Bickertons that originate from Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs. A lot of my ancestors came from Longton and many of them worked in the potteries and mines. The names I am most interested in are:- Job, Thomas, Eveline, Florence, Jim, Harold, Emmie, Eliza and Edwin.

I'm tracing the Bickertons and have a Harold Bickerton born 19/7/1894 in Longton. He was a potter.

His parents were Samuel Bickerton a potters turner and Sarah Finney.

It would be interesting to hear from you.
