Valentine's father was Edward S.b.1744 and he married Mary Walker and I've found 7 of their offspring. Valentine was born 1780 at Reston, Lincs. and died in 1852 in Authorpe, Lincs. He first married Mary Green in 1808 at West Rasen, Lincs., later he lived with Sarah Wood born 1794, don't know if they were married or not but they had twins, John and Ann. Ann had three illegitimate children whom John and his wife took under their wing John also looked after his father's two sisters Ann and Elizabeth. All of the above lived in Authorpe, Lincs.
I am most interested in this family because it has been said that my g.grandfather Richard S. born 1832 in Authorpe, was a son of Valentine. Richard married my namesake Ann Corden in Thoresway in Lincs. in 1852 but on the cert. Richard's father's name is William. So a big mystery.
