I am researching our family tree and am at a standstill. I'd like to find more information on where my great, great, great grandfather was born in England and who his siblings were, his parent's names too. I am itching to go beyond 1800!!! Last summer I travelled to England and visited the BRO and searched the parish records thoroughly. Unfortunately, I cannot get further than the parish records listing my great great great grandparent's names as Edward Marlow and Anne Walden, married Dec. 1819 in Swallowfield. No names of their fathers are listed in the marriage entry of the parish records.Nothing remotely close fits the records for a birth of Edward Marlow around 1800 either. I suspect that Edward is from somewhere near Mortimer or Swallowfield, but no birth entries at BRO fit him, sometime around 1800. Please, can anyone help with info? Does it match your trees? Thanks, Toni Marlow, and Robert Marlow Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
