Hello Im trying to find information on a Hilda Hart born c1914, she was my Grandmother and was married to John Stimpson. Hart isnt the original name, it was changed as Hilda's father married out of the jewish religion and therefore changed his surname to Hart, i do not know what the surname was before it was changed. He Had a market stall in kentish Town and was known as the 'Banana king' and was very popular. If anyone has any information regarding the Hart Family and what their original name was before it changed that would be a great help as i am at a dead end!
