hi Iam trying to find the birthdate of my gt gt grandfather RICHARD GRAHAM his parents are GEORGE GRAHAM and JANE HARDING he married ESTHER BENN in 1843 in CROSSTHWAITE KESWICK on the certificate it states they are both of full age. They had 4 children JOHN b1846 HENRY1848 MARY ELIZABETH 1849 MARGARET 1851 he died in1856 age 53 yrs his wife was age34yrs which made him 17 yrs senior to her. It makes the year of his birth around 1803 Ihave looked for him in the 1851 and 1841 census without any success. Idid find a GEORGE GRAHAM in the 1841 census about the right age working as a gardener in IRTHINGTON their is also a RICHARD GRAHAM in the same area the age isnt right but i have found ages very unreliable in the early census . Ihope there is someone out there who can help me with this problem Best Wishes Beatrice
