trying to find info on my partners mothers family.Her name was Shirley Yvonne Johnson b:22/1/1934 at Ilford Maternity Home to William Richard Johnson and Florence Mabel Johnson(formerly Ewens). On the birth certificate it says William was a french polisher and at the time of her birth they were living at 133 Thorold Road Ilford.We believe there was a son Paul as well dont know if he was older or younger than Shirley.Shirley married Derek John Cottee on 22/12/56 at the Parish Churh of Hornchurch at the time Shirley and Derek were living at 37 Fanshaw Cresent. Derek was a ledger clerk and Shirley was a wireless fitter.Shirley died the 21/1/72 in Australia. Believe there was some hostility from both families when they moved to Australia so when Shirley passed all contact with family in England was lost. Would really love to find cousins ,aunts, uncles or friends of his parents. Any and all info greatly appreciated.Thanks |
