Member Since: June 2007 Posts: 2 Send Message	Hello, I'm trying to find information about the family of my great Grandad, John William Hewitson, I thought he was born in Leeds as this is where he lived most of his life, working on the railway, he married Bridget, biddy, Hopkins from Cork in Ireland, they had eight children. I understand from his grandson Paul that John William was actually born in Stockton-on-Tees in 1872 and that a lot of Hewitsons live in that area. One relation lives in Richmond, Yorkshire, as I understand my great Aunt Margaret Hewitson lived there for quite some time. regards Wendy Dent
