Trying to find Jarvis

Hi my name is Dawn Sell (nee Jarvis) I am trying to find any Jarvis relatives born and from the Rotherfield, Crowborough area. My gt Grandad is Charles Jarvis born 1850-51 married Jane Heat. born 1855 and had 6 children. My Gt Gt Grandad was Robert Jarvis born 18.8.1805 in Rotherfield married Mary Ann Taylor born 1810 also in Rotherfield. had 9 children. Their Son Charles is my Gt Grandad. My Gt x 3 Grandparents were James Jarvis and Hannah Cripps who had Robert Jarvis 1805 and a daughter Sarah jarvis born 1807. all in Rotherfield. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who might have some information about my past family as I am stuck at the moment. The Jarvis family also were married to the Brooks family hence the place in Rotherfield called Jarvis Brook. any info gratefully received. |
