I have relatives from Doncaster on my father's side - Walter was a family name given I think to the eldest sons. My father's grandfather was a master builder and his family were involved in building and masonary. My greatgrandfather's name was James 1884 he had a son Walter who married Lottie (?Charlotte) and at least two other children Olive and Molly - Molly was my grandmother but died with a different surname as she married twice. If you have any information please contact me at |

Hello there, I am trying to find the family of Robert Freeman originally from Kingston Upon Hull. Robert had a sister Harriet born 1883 who married James Atkinson and we think their father was Walter freeman a bricklayer. As far as we know Robert moved to London after signing up to the Royal Lifeguards to serve probably during the first world war but I am unable to find any trace of him. Please help as I am stuck! thanks Nicola |
