Trying to find Sayer

Seeking George Sayer I am daughter of Michael Sayer, born York 1942. His father was George Sydney Sayer, born in York in 1900. I am trying to trace the Sayer family, the origins of which are in Brotton in the late 1700's. One son of Jane Calvert (again George Sayer, but originally named George Sayer Calvert born apx 1785) moved to Dunsley Village near Whitby in the early 1800's and they farmed there until the late 1800's. George Sayer, born 1863 was the son of George Sayer born apx 1825 and wife Margaret Laverick Walker b. 1825 of Dunsley Village. 1863 George married Rose Fowler and they ended up in the city of York where they had children Richard, Margaret and George Sydney. Either way, they are all George, they all married Margarets except for the one Rose and most of the history is around the Whitby district. ANY information, however obscure you might think, would be greatly appreciated. regards
