Can anyone help in trying to trace relatives or any information on Ernest Slingsby (my grandfather) he was born in 1907 but unsure of where also have no date of his death. If anyone can help with any information however small it would be a big help as I am tyring to form a familly tree.

Hi Sarah. My Grandmother was a Slingsby (Maiden Name), and iv'e just come across this website www.theslingsbys.org It goes back into the1600's
and seems they have had a lot to do with British history. They also have a pretty fancy coat of arms.
Let me know how you get on. Your Grand father might just be close to my grandmother,Millicent Margaret Slingsby,of upper Hawling.Nr Rochester.
Kind Regards, and all the best Grahm Edwards
