Trying to find out what happend to LILY WILLMENT born in Winchester 1905. Married to James Baden Squires and lived in Streatham and Winchester, until 1941. She had 5 children Jimmy, Harry, Peggy, Molly Lusetta and one other was a girl Margaret Jaqueline adopted out at birth registered in Petersfield Winchester 1941. Molly was evacuted during the war to Winchester for a year when she was about 10 years old, whilst she was there her mother Lily came to stay for three months, had her new baby adopted and went out xmas eve and was not seen again. She was traced to Exeter then nothing. Presumed dead at the Old Bailey years later. Did she disappear and not die? Did she remarry and have more children or live alone? Does anyone have any information to solve this mystery after more than 65 years? Molly would love to find out and trace her adopted sister.
NEW INFO
from a niece of Lily in Canada.
One of the remaining sisters of Lily confirmed she saw Lily after the war was over in Coventry. will update when i find out more.
