SLATERS OF EAST LONDON I am trying to find anyone with connections to the Slater Family of East London - in particular Margaret Quinn (b 1892) who married John William Slater in 1912. They had 8 children, John, Henry, Joseph, Margaret, Twins Katherine (known as Caroline) and Julie, Lil and Frederick. They also had a daughter Eileen who died whilst very young. John William Slater worked on the Southend Belle Pleasure Boat Steamer on the thames for many years and I would also be interested in anyone who has information regarding this. My ultimate is to tract JW's birth but have been stuck on this for over 18 months now so any information will be gratefully recevied. thanks in advance Dawn
