Mary Irene HILL or Irene HILL born 1918 Looking for my grandmother Mary Irene HILL (nee NORTON). She was born Mary Irene Norton in 1918 in Shropshire (Salop), England. Her father was George Norton. Her mother Louisa May Norton. She married her second husband Leslie Salter Hill in Bilston in 1946. Mary Irene Hill moved to Australia in 1952. She divorced her second husband in 1962. Last known living in inner suburb of Melbourne 1957-1962. Also known as Irene Hill or may be using her maiden name Mary Irene NORTON. She might have remarried. Or moved overseas??? If still living (89yo) she may be in an aged care facility. I have never met my grandmother. Hoping someone knows her whereabouts. UK relatives may be helpful with photographs/family history. |
