Hi Vicki
Have you tried www.wakefield.gov.uk this is a local goverment site and if you go into G for genealogy then into burial and cremation.
Type in the family name eg Stringer it will display all Stringer's that have died,year of death and which cemetrey they are in plus the grave number.Hope this helps.

I am trying to locate my Uncle William (bill) Stringer born..1918--1920? in yorkshire, parents were Minnie & Albert. Had a brother, Albert (hagen) & sister Dorothy (dolly) Last known address in Yorkshire was Castleford, Ferrybridge road. May have moved to Sussex in the late 1920's Any info would be greatly appreciated Vicki
