Trying to find relatives of SARAH LINDSEY born 1834 in Leigh on Sea, Essex. According to the 1851 census for Great Burstead, Essex, she was living with her father Henry, who was born about 1815 in Beddington, Surrey. No further mention of Sarah. Parish registers for Leigh on Sea show Sarah's parents as Henry and Hannah. What happened to Hannah? Later, Sarah's father Henry, married Harriet and they had a son Henry, b. 1858 who became a police constable and a daughter Ann, b. 1861. I am trying to find proof that this Sarah (b. 1834) could be the mother of William Lindsey, born 1865, in Billericay, Essex and what happened to her. |
