We are searching for a James Costello born in Ireland in the 1920s. He moved to South Wales in the late 40s to work in the opencast mine around the Glynneath area. His work mates at the time were Jimmy Walsh and Ned Vaughan and he lodged with a family in the Lamb and Flag area. We know that he then moved to Newcastle to work for a man called Burrage around 1949. We would be grateful for any information on his werabouts or of his family
