Hello fellow searchers My grandfather's brother fell off the edge of the earth around 1867. He was registered after birth as Delta Pembroke Owen. On the far right of his birth certificate it shows 'names added at a later date' Laurence George. He was born in Hammersmith on the 27 Oct. 1867. In 1886 his father - Henry John Owen died. Present at his death was G.Owen - son. I presume Delta stopped using the other three names. So where did he go? He didn't die in the UK as far as I can see. He didn't marry - again - as far as I know. Did he go off and fight in South Africa? Does anyone have a connection - PLEASE |
