Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 8 Send Message	i'm searching for anybody who can help me with info about the sherwood foresters (notts and derby regiment 1/7 battalion), who served in ww1 at the somme;i i beleive my fathers uncle died there on 01/07/16 he was a private nr 266394 he enlisted in nottingham his name is william thomas gore that is all i have found so far , i would like to find out if it really is him as i live in belgium and cannot visit the achives in the uk.hoping for response, regards kathleen
