Trying to find Foulkes

I am trying to find out about my great grandmother Emma Holt (nee Foulkes). Emma (born 1870) married Samuel Holt in Chorlton, Manchester. Emma had 2 brothers Ernest and George and her mother was Eliza (born in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire). Emma and Samuel had a son called Samuel who was born in 1899. Apparantly they also had a son called Harold and a daughter who died in infancy! Samuel jnr was in the Navy 1914-1918 but had to take early leave to help his mother (emma) because her husband left her. As far as i know they lived in Manchester! I would be very grateful to anyone who could give me any information. Janice |
