Hi everyone This is a very long shot - I'm trying to locate the father of - William James Seba Chalcraft born on 14.1.1893 to Kate Chalcraft 1873/4 who was the daughter of Henry Chalcraft and Jane Elliot. They lived near Farnham in Surrey. Kate worked as a kitchen maid at Charter House School. Kate went to Perth in Australia soon after William (Willie) was born. Willie was raised by his grandparents. It has passed down through the family that the name Seba or James Seba could be a connection to Willies father? Any information on Kates life and family connections in Australia would be of great interest. Thank you for looking. |
